Performance

The 2023 Volvo S90's B6 supercharged and turbocharged engine provides the vehicle with a reputable performance. The four-cylinder engine is combined with a 48-volt hybrid setup and uses an eight-speed automatic transmission system to power the all-wheel-drive system with 295 horsepower.

The T8 trim adds an electric motor to the rear wheels, bringing the power up to 455 horsepower when coupled with the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. The hybrid setup can propel the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 4.6 seconds. The T8 can cruise for up to 38 miles on electric power only. The S90 uses air suspension for a soft and comfortable ride.

Interior

The S90 Ultimate trim features Nappa leather seats equipped with massaging and heating functions. A 9-inch touchscreen displays Volvo's new Google Built-In infotainment system. From here, Cleveland, Ohio drivers can control the vehicle's climate, audio and navigation functions. The T8 has a day-night auto-dimming rearview mirror that reduces glare from headlights. The outside temperature gauge is displayed on the digital instrument cluster.

Safety

The S90 is equipped with an autonomous braking system that can avoid or mitigate collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians. The S90 also has a Pilot Assist system, which can brake, accelerate and steer to keep the vehicle in its lane. The S90 has a run-off road mitigation system that can detect when the vehicle is leaving the road and take corrective action.

Technology

The S90 is equipped with a keyless entry system that allows the driver to unlock and start the vehicle without having to remove the key from their pocket. The head-up display projects information onto the windshield, so the driver can keep their eyes on the road. The S90 has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that displays the vehicle's speed, navigation directions and other important information.
