What's New for 2023?

For 2023, Volvo has expanded the number of available trims on the C40 Recharge. Customers can choose from the Core and Plus trim levels, in addition to the C40 Recharge Ultimate. This move is sure to give the C40 Recharge a broader appeal and catch the eye of those who wanted some more affordable options.

Performance

Running on a pure electric powertrain, the C40 Recharge can make up to 402 horsepower and 486 pound-feet of torque. It only takes about four and a half seconds for this model to get to a speed of 60 mph, so you'll definitely experience a thrill on the roads around Cleveland, Ohio. A standard all-wheel-drive system gives it better handling and traction.

Safety and Technology

This crossover comes with a full suite of Volvo's advanced driver-assist technologies. The C40 Recharge can warn you when it senses potential problems, and it can also help you take corrective measures to avoid an accident.
